AKUI KAMALABALA WOMENS COLLEGE

Akui Kamalabala Women�s College is a Govt. aided college , Affiliated to Bankura University from August 2015.
Education has normally been viewed as an agency of augmenting socio- economic production and it cannot be achieved without ensuring participation of women in Higher Education. Hence the social reformers of Akui and its surroundings felt the pressing need of establishing a women�s college at Akui for the upliftment of women education . As the conservative guardians of the time were hesitant to send their daughters to a co-educational college for higher education, the well-wishers of the village ultimately established Akui Kamalabala Women�s College on 10th August 2016.
